{"id":1084,"date":"2018-09-21T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-09-21T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ecodef-ihedn.fr\/publication-numero-special-de-defence-and-peace-economics-coordonne-par-julien-malizard\/"},"modified":"2020-04-23T14:11:57","modified_gmt":"2020-04-23T14:11:57","slug":"numero-special-de-defence-and-peace-economics-coordonne-par-julien-malizard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ecodef-ihedn.fr\/en\/numero-special-de-defence-and-peace-economics-coordonne-par-julien-malizard\/","title":{"rendered":"Special issue of Defence and Peace Economics coordinated by Julien Malizard"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>A special issue <em>French perspectives<\/em> in <em>Defence and Peace Economics<\/em><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Julien_Malizard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Julien Malizard<\/strong><\/a>, a researcher at the Chair in Defence Economics, coordinated a <strong>special number<\/strong>l of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/loi\/gdpe20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Defence and Peace Economics<\/em> <\/a>concerning <strong>the case of France<\/strong> of which<strong> all articles are now available<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">The magazine <em>Defence and Peace Economics<\/em> has now been<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/section37cnrs\/Home\/revues37\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong> classified by section 37<\/strong><\/a> (economics and management) from<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnrs.fr\/fr\/page-daccueil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> CNRS<\/a>.<\/strong> Le <strong>defence economics<\/strong> is therefore<strong> officially recognised by the French authorities<\/strong> evaluation of academic research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ecodef-ihedn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/dpe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6037\" src=\"https:\/\/ecodef-ihedn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/dpe.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"189\" height=\"267\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Around the special issue:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">La <strong>France<\/strong> has a <strong>a relatively original defence policy<\/strong> among Western countries: for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1080\/10430719708404868\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fontanel and H\u00e9bert (199<\/a>7), we can even talk about <strong>\u00abpolitics of grandeur\u00bb<\/strong>. The defence has a <strong>significant economic weight,<\/strong> both in terms of <strong>macroeconomic<\/strong> (with a large defence budget) than at the national level. <strong>microeconomic<\/strong> (and industrial in particular). However, despite these specific features, the case of <strong>France has been little studied by French researchers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">This <strong>special issue<\/strong> is an opportunity to <strong>promote defence economics studies<\/strong> among the members of the <strong>academic community.<\/strong> These include <strong>diversity of profiles<\/strong> of contributors (doctoral students, young PhDs, specialists in the field but also researchers from other fields of research) as well as the <strong>a wide range of subjects and approaches<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2>Contents:<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div>- <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1080\/10242694.2018.1521224\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Introduction<\/a><\/em> by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Julien_Malizard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <strong>J.
