How are deliveries changing?<br>2. What is France's share of world trade?<br>3. Who are your main customers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 1991, which marked the end of the Cold War, the trend in French arms exports has been as follows <strong>cyclic<\/strong>, The minimum level, i.e. the minimum average amount, is around \u20ac4 billion a year. This can be explained by two cyclical factors: the <strong>major contracts signed<\/strong> which generate peaks in deliveries and a <strong>an export-friendly environment<\/strong>, With sustained demand from importing countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"675\" height=\"550\" src=\"https:\/\/ecodef-ihedn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/graphique-exportations-france.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4245\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ecodef-ihedn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/graphique-exportations-france.png 675w, https:\/\/ecodef-ihedn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/graphique-exportations-france-300x244.png 300w, https:\/\/ecodef-ihedn.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/graphique-exportations-france-515x420.png 515w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, global defence spending reached a level never seen before, including during the Cold War, approaching 2,000 billion dollars. Certain regions of the world, such as the Middle East and Asia, need foreign defence equipment, and have shown a definite dynamism for nearly fifteen years. These regions account for more than 60 % of exports, compared with just 20 % for Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Against this backdrop, the growth rate of French exports, which is higher on average than that of the rest of the world, reflects a form of \"dexterity\". <strong>\u00abFrance's \u00bboutperformance<\/strong>, This is due not only to the quality of its products, but also to its effective diplomatic and trade policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the United States (more than 38 %) and Russia (nearly 20 %) dominate the market, France comes in second.<strong> third place<\/strong>, with an average market share of over 7 %, despite an increasingly competitive market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/theconversation.com\/en-graphiques-les-exportations-darmes-francaises-173864\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">read the full article<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Josselin Droff, chercheur \u00e0 la Chaire, et Julien Malizard, titulaire adjoint de la Chaire, sont les auteurs d\u2019un article consacr\u00e9 aux exportations d&rsquo;armes fran\u00e7aises, publi\u00e9 dans The Conversation.
