Now more than ever, technology is a key factor in competition between powers. It is on this theme that the issue 70 of Les Grands Dossiers de Diplomatie<\/a> <\/strong>is dedicated.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Josselin Droff, a researcher at the Chair, has published an article in this special issue entitled: \u00abIndustry 4.0, a new way of designing and producing\u00bb.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The combination of certain technologies is at the origin of major process changes<\/strong> industrial production and business models<\/strong> which are now united around a single concept: industry 4.0<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This article sets out to define and question this concept. The many potential<\/strong> offered by Industry 4.0 technologies are discussed, as well as their potential limits<\/strong>. Industry's transition to Industry 4.0 is not just a question of technical and economic<\/strong>, but it's also a challenge organisational, societal and political<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
