The first «Defence Innovation Forum» will take place in Paris at the Cité de la Mode et du Design, quai d'Austerlitz, from Thursday 22 November to Saturday 24 November 2018.
This Defence Innovation Forum is part of the public innovation weeke, which runs from 19 to 25 November 2018.
It will be open to the public and there will be plenty of entertainment on offer all day on Saturday 24 November.

At the forum, members of the public will be able to meet with manufacturers, SMEs, start-ups, researchers, investors, public bodies, students and innovators, to exchange ideas and prepare together for the future. Armies of tomorrow. From innovative projects and initiatives developed within the Ministry of the Armed Forces will be presented, in the fields of scientific and technological innovation, operational innovation and innovation in all areas of support required by the armed forces (clothing, food, administration, etc.).
Because armies have a constant need to be at the forefront of innovation to maintain their operational superiority, the Ministry is strengthening its capacity for innovation by creating the’Defence Innovation Agency. Open to the outside world, looking to Europe and internationally visible, this agency will be the heart of the Forum. Designed to promote rapid experimentation and industrialisation, It will open its doors wide to all innovators.
