Jean Belin has been appointed by the Minister of Defence as a qualified member of the Conseil Général de l'Armement (CGARM), alongside Stéphane Abrial (Safran), Camille Grand (NATO), Julia Maris (DCI) and Agnès Audier (BCG).
The CGARM is a body of the Ministry of Defence, chaired by and reporting directly to the Minister. Its remit is twofold: the development of the «armaments function» in France and Europe, and general guidelines for the armaments corps.
The CGARM is responsible for examining all matters relating to armaments, defence industries and armaments corps.
