DEFENCE SECURITY CYBER - International Summer School 2017

The Initiative of Excellence (IdEx Bordeaux) and the Montesquieu Forum of the University of Bordeaux are organising the third session of the International Summer School «Defence Security Cyber» (DSC) in June 2017.

This year's event will be structured around a technological theme, data, and a strategic theme, (in)security in Africa.

Jean Belin will be taking part in the «Innovation, competitiveness and regional economic development» round table on Monday 26 June, from 4.15pm to 6.15pm.

DSC: a cross-functional approach focused on innovation

From a training perspective, DSC, created in 2015 by Sébastien-Yves Laurent, is the only summer school in France focused on the three professional sectors: defence, security and cyber-digital. DSC is set in the context of global security - internal and external security - with a particular focus on industrial and cyber-digital security technologies. DSC focuses on current professional issues, with content geared towards innovation and the future.

Expert speakers

DSC's contributors are private and public sector professionals specialising in these three sectors, as well as academics from all disciplines specialising in safety issues.

A wide range of participants

The summer school is open to professionals from the private sector (defence, security and cyber), government professionals (civilians, police officers, military), as well as Master's and Doctorate students.
