This bimonthly format is intended to provide a summary of the work carried out by the Chair, to provide information on the issues addressed and to stimulate reflection on the various challenges facing the defence economy.
Submitted by Julien Malizard, holder of the Chair, this issue forms part of the discussions on the update to the 2024–2030 Military Programming Act. It draws in particular on the recent work by Josselin Droff and Julien Malizard, published in 2026 in The Economics of Peace and Security Journal under the heading « French defence spending: War economy “à la française” ».
