L’Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale launches its registration campaign for scientific prizes as well as for the financial support programme doctoral students. The winners will be announced in the first quarter of 2019.
- The IHEDN prize reward Master 2 work research and theses supported in 2017-2018, on issues of international relations, foreign policy, defence, security (understood in its broadest sense) and defence economics in all disciplines of the humanities and social sciences.
- The financial support consists of a one-off assistance (ranging on average from 400 to 4000 euros per person) for doctoral students PhD students working on the same issues. This support must finance an identified project (research areas).
- The prices «Thérèse Delpech» (€3,000) and «Pierre Guillaumat» (€5,000) to promote the development of academic work on the nuclear defence. The first rewards the best Master 2 research theses and the second is designed to reward the best theses in the field of nuclear defence.
The application deadlines are as follows :
- 21 November 2018 for the Master 2 research prizes
- 21 December 2018 for thesis prizes
- 21 December 2018 for financial support for doctoral students
