Jean Belin, holder of the Chair of Defence Economics - IHEDN, has been appointed to the jury for the «Defence Economics» prize.
The Ministry of Defence has appointed Jean Belin, Chair, to the jury for the defence economics prize.
Le defence economics prize awards a prize each year to a thesis, a presentation of original scientific work or a postgraduate dissertation for its quality, originality and interest in the field of defence economics.
In 2015, the prize was awarded to Josselin Droff, a researcher at the Chair, for his doctoral thesis in economics entitled : «Le facteur spatial en économie de la défense : application au maintien en condition opérationnelle des matériels de défense» (The space factor in defence economics: application to operational maintenance of defence equipment)», defended at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO) in November 2013. In 2018, it was awarded to François-Xavier Meunier for his thesis on «Dual technological innovation: an analysis in terms of influence and coherence», at the close of the annual Research, Innovation and Defence conference of the Chair.
