Camille Laville, a researcher at the Chair, took part in the conference organised by the Meta-Analysis of Economics Research Network (MAER-Net) 7 and 8 October 2022 in Kyoto (Japan).

The event brought together thirty researchers from all over the world: Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom and United States.

MAER-Net is an international network of researchers involved in the’improving economics through meta-analysis. Its aim is to serve as a clearing house for meta-analysis and economics research and to improve communication between researchers in this rapidly expanding field.

Camille presented the article «Internal Conflicts and Shocks. A Narrative Meta-Analysis», co-authored with Pierre Mandon. This study questions the presence of publication bias in research on the link between internal conflicts and income shocks linked to climate change, natural resource endowments and international prices.
