Julien Malizard, Deputy Chair, publishes a chapter in l’2020 Directory of Security and Defence Law, published this month by Mare et Martin.

The chapter is entitled «Economic methods applied to defence research: the example of economic impact». It discusses the theoretical and empirical issues in defence economics and illustrates this with an analysis of the issues involved.‘he economic impact of defence.
This publication is a follow-up to a conference in September 2019 by the Association française de droit de la sécurité et de la défense, as part of a panel on methodological issues in the social sciences.
